“Salt” is one of the most common word used everyday by everybody around the world! Either you love it or you hate it, either is Table Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt…Or maybe you are using it for beauty and cosmetic purposes, like the Epsom Salt…the truth is, the word “salt” is here to stay!
This mineral is arguably the most commonly recognized food seasoning on the planet. Before refrigeration, salt was the most frequently used method of preservation for meats and other foods, making it invaluable in human history. Saltiness is one of the major tastes we experience while eating, and it is practically inescapable in the western diet. While many of us grew up with fine table salt, consumers today can find a whole array of salts from all over the world with different textures and colors
There are many types of salts available at the grocery store today but how much do we actually know about these white crystal looking minerals? Do we know the difference between these Salts? Is there any Healthy Salt? How much healthy Salt is too much? Well…we are here to find out for you….read below:
Unrefined Salt, Refined Salt and Specialty and Finishing Salts
Unrefined salts, like the increasingly popular sea salt, are minimally processed. They rarely have preservatives or anti-caking agents and are among the purest salts you can purchase. These salts can be harvested from many different regions all over the world. These salts are typically not fortified with iodine, but have naturally occurring and beneficial minerals depending on their place of origin. They have a subtle variety in taste, textures and colors and come from a range of harvesters, from huge corporations to small family owned farms. If you are interested in purity in your foods, unrefined salt is the way to go.
Refined salts, like regular table salt and kosher salt are salts that have gone through a further processing and refining process. Until recently, they were the most common salts on the market, in restaurants and in the pantry. These salts often (but not always) have additives to prevent clumping and may also be fortified with iodine. If you are looking for more purity but want the extra iodine, choose an unrefined salt and begin to incorporate foods naturally rich in iodine (like seaweed) into your diet.
Specialty & Finishing Salts
Once consumers started shifting from regular table salt to unrefined sea salt, another industry was born: specialty and finishing salts. You may find some interesting varieties at your health food store, like smoked sea salt or the black lava sea salt. But how do you use these specialty salts? And what in the world are finishing salts anyway?
Specialty salts are typically harvested using traditional methods and from many different part of the world. A common example is Fleur de Sel (the flower of salt), which is comprised of young salt crystals harvested in traditional Celtic methods. These salts are usually added at the end of the meal to maintain their delicate flavors. Finishing salts are also added to bring out unique flavor, and are sea salts blended with a variety of unique ingredients for a customizable surprising taste.
What’s the difference between Table Salt and Natural Sea Salt:
One of the main differences (that you can’t miss) are in their taste, texture and processing.
Sea salt is produced through evaporation of ocean water or water from saltwater lakes, usually with little processing. Depending on the water source, this leaves behind certain trace minerals and elements. The minerals add flavor and color to sea salt, which also comes in a variety of coarseness levels.
Here are some of sea salt’s amazing health benefits:
*Strong Immune System – Sea salt naturally helps you to build up a strong immune system so that you can fight off the cold virus, the fever and flu, allergies and other autoimmune disorders.
*Alkalizing – Sea salt is alkalizing to the body, as it has not been exposed to high heat and stripped of its minerals, nor does it have any harmful man-made ingredients added to it. Thus it can help you to prevent and reverse high levels of acids in the body, which in turn eliminates the risks for serious and life-threatening diseases.
*Weight Loss – Believe it or not, but sea salt can also help you in weight loss. It helps the body to create digestive juices so that the foods you eat are digested faster, and it helps to prevent buildup in the digestive tract, which eventually can lead to constipation and weight gain.
*Skin Conditions – A sea salt bath can help to relieve dry and itchy skin as well as serious conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. The bath naturally opens up the pores, improves circulation in the skin and hydrates the tissues so that your skin can heal.
*Asthma – Sea salt is effective in reducing inflammation in the respiratory system. Thus the production of phlegm is slowed down so that you can breathe easier again. Some say that sprinkling sea salt on the tongue after drinking a glass of water is just as effective as using an inhaler. But the great thing about sea salt is that it has no side effects when taken in moderation.
*Heart Health – When salt is taken with water it can help to reduce high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and help to regulate an irregular heart beat. Thus sea salt can help to prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks and strokes.
*Diabetes – Sea salt can help to reduce the need for insulin by helping to maintain proper sugar levels in the body. Thus the salt is an essential part of the diet if you are diabetic, or at risk for the disease.
*Osteoporosis – Just over 1/4 of the amount of salt that is in the body is stored in the bones, where it helps to keep them strong. When the body lacks salt and water it begins to draw the sodium from the bones, which then eventually can lead to osteoporosis. Thus by drinking plenty of water and consuming salt in moderation you can prevent osteoporosis.
*Muscle Spasms – Potassium is essential for helping the muscles to function properly. Sea salt not only contains small amounts of potassium, but it also helps the body to absorb it better from other foods. Thus it is effective in helping to prevent muscle pains, spasms and cramps.
*Depression – Sea salt also has shown to be effective in treating various types of depression. The salt helps to preserve two essential hormones in the body that help you to better deal with stress. These hormones are serotonin and melatonin, which help you to feel good, and relax and sleep better at night.
Table salt is typically mined from underground salt deposits. Table salt is more heavily processed to eliminate minerals and usually contains an additive to prevent clumping. Most table salt also has added iodine, an essential nutrient that helps maintain a healthy thyroid.
Sea salt and table salt have the same basic nutritional value, despite the fact that sea salt is often promoted as being healthier. Sea salt and table salt contain comparable amounts of sodium by weight.
Salt and the sodium that it represents have been hot topics of debate in the health and medical community for some time. While the sodium chloride that is present in salt is vital to human life, the amount ingested has been the topic of studies all over the world. Whichever type of salt you enjoy, do so in moderation. The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend limiting sodium to less than 2,300 milligrams a day — or 1,500 milligrams if you’re age 51 or older, or if you have high blood pressure, diabetes or chronic kidney disease.
Himalayan Pink Salt is one of the purest salts available for culinary, therapeutic and cosmetic uses. This delectable salt has beautifully formed crystals which range in color from off-white to a lustrous pink, which indicates a quantifiable amount of 84 trace elements & iron. The benefits are endless but Himalayan Pink Salt is primarily used for gourmet cooking and in bath preparations.
Himalayan Pink Salt is a pure, hand-mined salt that is derived from ancient sea salt deposits, and it is believed to be the purest form of salt available. The high mineral crystals range in color from sheer white, varying shades of pink, to deep reds, the result of high mineral and iron content. This type of salt is used by holistic chefs, spas, health professionals, and individuals for its range of nutritional and therapeutic properties. Pink salt may be used in the same manner as table salt for culinary dishes and baking, but it is purer and higher in mineral content. Externally, pink salt can be used to stimulate circulation, relax the body, lower blood pressure, sooth sore muscles, and remove toxins from the body. Use Himalayan Pink Salt in bath salt recipes, body scrubs, aromatherapy, homemade soap, and for all types of culinary and spa applications.
Regular consumption of Himalayan Pink Salt provides essential minerals, trace elements, balances electrolytes, supports proper nutrient absorption, eliminates toxins, balances the body’s pH, normalizes blood pressure, and increases circulation and conductivity. It can also assist with relief from arthritis, skin rashes, psoriasis, herpes, and flu and fever symptoms.
Epsom Salt, named for a bitter saline spring at Epsom in Surrey, England, is not actually salt but a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate. Long known as a natural remedy for a number of ailments, Epsom salt has numerous health benefits as well as many beauty, household and gardening-related uses.
Studies have shown that magnesium and sulfate are both readily absorbed through the skin, making Epsom salt baths an easy and ideal way to enjoy the amazing health benefits. Magnesium plays a number of roles in the body including regulating the activity of over 325 enzymes, reducing inflammation, helping muscle and nerve function and helping to prevent artery hardening. Sulfates help improve the absorption of nutrients, flush toxins and help ease migraine headaches.
The wonders of Epsom salt have been well known for hundreds of years and unlike other salts, Epsom salt has beneficial properties that can soothe the body, mind and soul. Some of the countless health benefits include relaxing the nervous system, curing skin problems, soothing back pain and aching limbs, easing muscle strain, healing cuts, treating cold and congestion, and drawing toxins from the body. One of the simplest ways to ease stress and stress-related problems is to soak in a tub full of hot water with a few cups of Ultra Epsom Salt.
Some of the magical benefits of Epsom salt include:
Eases stress and relaxes the body: Stress drains the body of magnesium and increases levels of adrenaline. When dissolved in warm water, Epsom salt is absorbed through the skin and replenishes the level of magnesium in the body. The magnesium helps to produce serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of calm and relaxation. Research shows that magnesium also increases energy and stamina by encouraging the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the energy packets made in the cells. Experts believe that bathing with Epsom salt at least three times a week helps you to look better, feel better and gain more energy. Magnesium ions also relax and reduce irritability by lowering the effects of adrenaline. They create a relaxed feeling, improve sleep and concentration, and help muscles and nerves to function properly.
Relieves pain and muscle cramps: An Epsom salt bath is known to ease pain and relieve inflammation, making it beneficial in the treatment of sore muscles, bronchial asthma and migraine headaches. In addition, it has been known to heal cuts and reduce soreness from childbirth. Mix a thick paste of Epsom salt with hot water and apply to get soothing comfort. Try soaking your aching, tired (and smelly) feet in a tub of water with half a cup of our Ultra Epsom Salt. Epsom salt softens skin and will even neutralize foot odor.
Helps muscles and nerves function properly: Studies show that Epsom salt can help regulate electrolytes in your body, ensuring proper functioning of the muscles, nerves and enzymes. Magnesium is also known to be critical in the proper use of calcium, which serves as a main conductor of the electric impulses in your body.
Helps prevent hardening of arteries and blood clots
Epsom salt is believed to improve heart health and help prevent heart disease and strokes by improving blood circulation, protecting the elasticity of arteries, preventing blood clots and reducing the risk of sudden heart attack deaths.
Makes insulin more effective: Proper magnesium and sulfate levels increase the effectiveness of insulin in the body, helping to lower the risk or severity of diabetes.
Relieves constipation: Numerous studies have revealed that Epsom salt can be used to treat constipation. Taken internally, Epson salt acts as a detoxifying agent for colon cleansing. The salt acts like a laxative by increasing water in the intestines and can bring about temporary relief from constipation. However, it is strictly warned that Epsom salts should not be used to relieve constipation without the consultation of a physician.
Eliminates toxins from the body: The sulfates in Epsom salt help flush toxins and heavy metals from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances. Your skin is a highly porous membrane and adding the right minerals to your bathwater triggers a process called reverse osmosis, which actually pulls salt out of your body, and harmful toxins along with it. For a detoxifying bath, at least once weekly add two cups of our Ultra Epsom Salt to the water in a bathtub and soak for 10 minutes.
Some uses of Epsom salt?
Whether you like a relaxing soak or wish to enhance your beauty effortlessly, making Epsom salt a part of your daily routine can add a whole lot of goodness to your way of life. To experience the numerous health benefits of Epsom salt, take relaxing, stress-relieving Epsom salt baths three times weekly by adding 2 cups Ultra Epsom Salt to a warm bath and soaking for at least 12 minutes. For the added benefit of moisturizing your skin, add 1/2 cup olive oil or baby oil. Do not use soap as it will interfere with the action of the salts. Try to rest for about two hours afterwards. If you have arthritic joints move them as much as possible after an Epsom salt bath to prevent congestion in the joints.
As a foot bath, pamper weary feet by adding 1/2 cup of Epsom salt to a basin of warm water. Relax and soak feet for 20 minutes. If you like, rub away any calluses using a pumice stone. Dry feet, then add two drops of peppermint essential oil to your favorite natural moisturizer, like shea or coconut butter, and rub in thoroughly to lock in the moisture. If you are pregnant or have any health concerns, check with your doctor before using Epsom salts.

- Exfoliate dead skin – In the shower or bath, mix a handful of Epsom salt with a tablespoon of bath or olive oil and rub all over your wet skin to exfoliate and soften. Rinse thoroughly.
- Exfoliating face cleanser – To clean your face and exfoliate skin at the same time, mix a half-teaspoon of Epsom salt with your regular cleansing cream. Gently massage into skin and rinse with cold water.
- Dislodge blackheads – Add a teaspoon of Epsom salt and 3 drops iodine into a half cup of boiling water. Apply this mixture to the blackheads with a cotton ball.
- Remove foot odor – Mix a half cup of Epsom salt in warm water and soak your feet for 10 minutes to remove bad odor, sooth achy feet, and soften rough skin.
- Remove hairspray – Combine 1 gallon of water, 1 cup of lemon juice, and 1 cup Epsom salt. Cover the mixture and let set for 24 hours. The next day, pour the mixture into your dry hair and leave on for 20 minutes before shampooing as normal.
- Hair volumizer – Combine equal parts deep conditioner and Epsom salt and warm in a pan. Work the warm mixture through your hair and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean bathroom tiles – Mix equal parts Epsom salt and liquid dish detergent and use as a scrub on bathroom tile.
- As a hand wash – Mix Epsom salt with baby oil and keep by the sink for an effective hand wash.
Sattva is finally official! It’s here for you and it’s here to stay!
After months of blood, sweat and tears the idea became a reality! It all started over a table conversation with friends. The more i thought about it, the more excited and involved i became…Slowly researches started and i realized how juicing and cleansing programs are so popular every where. I learned the benefits of these programs and thought about how they could complement my existing wellness programs. Spoke with family and friends and it really hit me when hubby offered me a cold press juicer for X’mas. I automatically thought “OK, IT’S REAL…LET’S DO IT”.
I didn’t waste time. From January i started the trial period. I brought a juice sample to my sister’s Bday Party – Success! Happy Healthy Saturday Everyone!
Our “alarm clock” rings promptly at 7:15 am. Hubby had an early morning flight and Baby Sienna didn’t mind waking up either. My body still feels sore from yesterday’s Yoga class. I had a full class. I always look forward to it, always different students with different backgrounds, different physical conditions, different purposes of joining the class…and it’s always rewarding to see returning students feeling great! It always reminds me of the reasons i choose this beautiful path, the wellness and natural health path.
Today, i am 19 weeks pregnant and i can say i feel great, i finally have my energies and motivation back. We can’t wait for the 20th week scan happening on the 25th!Too excited to find out if Sienna is having a little Brother or little Sister Will definitely let you know.
I am extremely excited for tomorrow, the day Lifestyle in Shavasana will finally go live. It’s actually live already, but modifications are being done every time and no advertisement has been made. I want this blog to look as nice and fun as possible. I like everything perfect and don’t accept things that are half way done…i’m like this by nature. It bothers me if things are done in a rush, leading to a poor result! Therefor the time and dedication in this blog. Also, wanted to get familiar with the website and fill as many posts and pages as possible! From this afternoon, www.lifestyleinshavasana.blogspot.com won’t exist anymore and www.lifestyleinshavasana.com will be your new home!
Again, if you were following me from blogspot, you can still find all the posts in the Archives section of this blog. Just scroll down/up and you will get what you need.
I have to admit that i am still struggling with the recipes page. I can’t find the right layout and pictures format. I believe this section will be different from the one we had in blogspot…but it will work well at the end
A few touches before we start advertising the page…it will be a busy Saturday! Luckily i feel inspired and the construction noise upstairs is not too bad!
2 months and 2 days until i blow 30 candles!
I think, for the first time ever i am fine with it and not panicking about turning one year older! It’s not bothering me, i am not freaking out…i’m at ease and actually excited about it!!I will write more about it when we get closer to the day. I’ll add interesting interviews, opinions and suggestions from friends that are in their 30’s. Stay tuned!!
This post is about a little family getaway happening from August 12th to the 17th!!Not only we will be celebrating my Birthday tanning and relaxing at the beach with an early seafood dinner but we will also enjoy a cozy Babymoon! It will most definitely be our last trip before the little one is born in November. By that time (in August) i will be very well pregnant in my 6.5 month and the destinations must be within a few hours away from Macau. So what are our choices? Bali, Vietnam and Thailand. Thailand is always Thailand…we have been endless times, but never together to Phuket. Same with Bali, last time i was there was back in 2000 and finally Vietnam – a destination that is welcoming more and more people from Macau, thanks to the short and direct flights.
When thinking about traveling, we need to consider lots of things since it’s not only Hubby and I. We have a non-stop 17 months old that is sooo eager to discover the world. We need to take into consideration the hotel, the location and the beach. We do love our little luxuries…but now, our luxuries must be family/baby friendly. We do want to rest and let Sienna be free – if you know what i mean.
Every time we search for Resorts we find amazing properties. One cuter than the other that makes it so hard to choose from We do have a list of essentials: baby friendly, beautiful beach, swimming pool, spa, fitness center, place for yoga, friendly staff, bath tub in the room, spacious rooms with beach or sea view, nature around, plenty of breakfast choices and airport transfer.
Below you will find what took our breath away.
Sri Panwa Phuket – Thailand – Everybody. If not this August, most certainly anytime next year!
After all 30th Birthday deserves a proper celebration right?!?!
There is also Como Shambhala Estate – Bali but we feel like being close to the beach this time!
Have you ever been to one of these Resorts? If yes, or if you heard about it leave a comment in the box below!Would love to read what you have to say…
Why choose organic baby food – what are the benefits?
Higher nutrition levels
Put simply, organic food is packed with nutrients. A baby’s digestive system is more efficient than that of an adult at absorbing foods, enabling nutrients to be used more quickly.
- No nasties
It is not just what organic food does contain, it is also what it does not that is important. A baby’s nervous, circulatory, and reproductive systems are all developing fast so it is vital that alien chemicals do not disrupt them during the growth phase. Immature kidneys are not as proficient at getting rid of harmful substances, so they may circulate in the body of a baby for longer.
Many additives are now being linked to health and behavioural problems, including Monosodium Glutamate, Brilliant Blue, Aspartame and Quinoline Yellow. Research has found that mixtures of the additives, which are commonly found in children’s food and snacks, have a much more potent effect on nerve cells than each additive on its own. All of these are banned under organic standards.
- Fewer pesticides
Because a baby’s diet is often restricted to just a few types of less processed food, for example, apples, potatoes and carrots, they may receive higher exposures of pesticides and although the EU has set maximum levels for individual chemicals used in infant formula and baby foods, this does not take into account the cocktail effect of lots of pesticides. The best method of reducing exposure to potentially harmful pesticides would be to eat organically grown food, where their use is avoided.
- Better for the environment
It’s kinder to the environment too. Organic farming works with nature, not against it, and research shows that it’s better for birds, butterflies and other wildlife. Farm animals are reared humanely and not routinely fed antibiotics to suppress disease or promote growth.
In Macau, where i live, the choices are quite small. I have to make a few trips to Hong Kong in order to find a better selection and more choices. We do have an array of Baby Foods and an endless choice of Baby snacks. But Organic Cereals, Organic Yogurts, Organic snacks…that we are lacking. At least, i am.
Have a look at some of the best brands used by us and some of my friends. Our little ones never complaint and always beg for more
This brings us neatly full circle. The food you’re putting in your child’s mouth can actually help create a better world for him or her to grow up in.
I always been a conscious eater and always paid close attention to where my food was coming from. Eating the freshest and best quality products became a focus when i got pregnant for the 1st time. I wanted to make sure i was nourishing my Baby with the best possible.
With a family now and in pretty much charge of what’s eaten at home, i become increasingly aware of the problems with industrial agriculture – such as toxic pesticides and contaminated food – My choices sand lifestyle goes beyond Organic and is definitely not limited to food. We live a green, organic, Natural, eco friendly lifestyle where i also include Baby Products – Organic and Natural, Organic clothing and bedding, Natural beauty products, earth friendly cleaning products among others. The market for alternatives like organics has sprouted and grows every year.
Before going into detail, let’s understand:
What does “organic” mean?
The Organic Trade Association defines “organic production as based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers.Organically produced foods also must be produced without the use of antibiotics, synthetic hormones, genetic engineering and other excluded practices, sewage sludge, or irradiation.” In addition, organic foods are minimally processed with no artificial ingredients or preservatives.
Understanding organic labeling
- 100% organic: The food must contain (excluding water and salt) ONLY organically produced ingredients and processing aids. The USDA seal may appear on the packaging.
- Organic: The food must consist of at least 95 percent organically produced ingredients (excluding water and salt). The USDA seal may appear on the packaging.
- Made with organic ingredients: These foods must contain at least 70 percent organic ingredients and list up to three of the organic ingredients or food groups on the principal display panel.
- Contains organic ingredients: Foods in this classification contain less than 70 percent organic ingredients.
Why choosing organic matters?
One of the most important reasons is to avoid added hormones, antibiotics, toxic pesticides, and genetically modified organisms. Children are particularly susceptible to these exposures because they consume more food on a per-weight basis than adults do and because their bodies are still developing and maturing.
Organic milk, according to a study in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, has more vitamins, antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids (thought to be beneficial to the cardiovascular system), and conjugated linoleic acid (considered a cancer-fighting substance) because the cows eat high levels of fresh grass, clover pasture, and grass clover silage. And another study showed that the incidence of eczema in young children was reduced by 36 percent when they consumed organic dairy products.
Choosing organically grown fruits and vegetables can significantly decrease the frequency and level of dietary exposure to pesticides, thus reducing the magnitude of one risk factor that can contribute to a variety of health problems.
The only study ever published on human genetically modified feeding showed that the foreign genes inserted into genetically modified food crops can transfer into the DNA of our internal bacteria. This study gives new meaning to the adage “you are what you eat.” Long after those genetically modified corn chips you munched are history, your intestinal flora may still be churning out the “Bt” pesticide genetically modified corn plants have been engineered to produce.
In addition to routine antibiotics, at least 70 percent of conventionally raised broiler chickens in the U.S. are fed arsenic. The most common additive is roxarsone. Once ingested by animals, roxarsone can degrade into cancer-causing inorganic forms of arsenic within the animal’s digestive tract and in animal waste. Roxarsone is FDA-approved for growth promotion, feed efficiency, and “improved pigmentation” of meat. Significantly, the 27 countries of the European Union have never approved this practice as safe.
Choosing organic food is also better for the planet and for the health of farmers and their families.
Today is International Children’s Day!!!
Happy Children’s Day to ALL the Children in the World…Wish you all a very happy happy day surrounded by fun love and your favorite things!
Like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Sister’s Day, Brother’s Day, Children’s’ Day is EVERY SINGLE DAY! It’s the 2nd Year that the Hedegaards celebrate Children’s Day and we can’t imagine a day without giving our Daughter all the love, all the attention, dedication, support and help she needs! And that’s what we all should do to our kids..it doesn’t matter their age, gender and race!Children are Children and we must respect them and love them everyday!
It always shock me to hear in the news absolutely horrible, disturbing and sad things like child slavery, child trafficking, child abuse, parents rapping their Baby, parents murdering their Babies or Children, parents leaving their kids at home to go gamble – it happens so often in this past of the world, parents that neglect their children..i got tears in my eyes as i write this down. Now, the horrible case of the 200 girls in Nigeria, and so much more!!Come on World, Come on Parents!!It upsets me so much that i feel like doing something, but there’s so much i can do..so i start at home by loving and protecting my daughter and just hope that other kids are receiving the same from their parents, at least today!
I still remember as i Child – sounds like it was ages ago – we always celebrated in school with a whole day of fun. There were outdoors activities, every kid had to bring a dish cooked from home, there were presentations, competitions and tournaments and the best of the best it was a uniform free day. Probably the only day in the entire year!It was definitely our favorite day!!Sometimes it was swimming pool day or picnic day by the beach!!!Good memories!!!
So put a big smile on your kids face and let them be children today and every day!Let them grow up in a safe and loving environment. Let them be your number 1 priority!!!
I know I know I know!!!!!

For the last two months my energies were so low that i could hardly get out of bed. My days were literally wake up with Baby Sienna at 7 am and go to bed literally between 18 and 18:30 pm every night! It never happened to me before and i felt so bad..felt bad because i couldn’t dedicate myself 100% to my Baby that needed me more than anything else, i couldn’t be there entirely for my Family and Friends plus, i had to cancel pretty much all the invitations, my classes, my teachings and put hold on my Naturopathy studies…Why?!?because i am at the moment 16weeks2 days pregnant with a tiny little human being!!!!A Rainbow Baby
I will cover all about my pregnancy loss and my actual pregnancy in the Pregnancy section.
On top of that, our laptops and Mac decided to take some time off at the same time!So i couldn’t type anything for nearly 1.5 months. Finally they are back on track and i can resume everything that was put on hold.
Well, it was not only inconveniences and low energies. In the other hand, besides learning that we are pregnant again (Baby is Due Nov.14th), we had our cozy and romantic Wedding Anniversary getaway in Hong Kong, i managed to complete a Yogic Nutrition and Lifestyle Course in Hong Kong, plans for the future were made, reconnections were established, i managed to sort out mine and Sienna’s wardrobe and few little things were improved in the house…Had to admit it was a challenge sometimes! And the Coaching is going amazingly well!Thank you ALL very much for keeping in touch with us, thank you ALL for the encouraging and motivation words!!!You ROCK!!!
I recon my energies are slowly coming back to their normal state, this week Macau said hello – for the first time this year – to it’s beautiful sunny summer days! Extremely HOT tho!!!We enjoyed relaxing days at the pool and i can say that i needed it more than anything!
Hubby been having 2 days off every week, which been amazing…so we managed to have really good quality time together. Extremely important too because Sienna is starting nursery in September 1st. I am missing her already!!!Is crazy how this years are flying!!!We do need to take advantage of every single minute the day has to offer, we never know what the future has in store for us!!!As an active and busy Woman, i found extremely challenging to stay home in bed rest for 3 months (since February) and do NOTHING! I felt so small and border line useless!!But i had to follow the Dr. recommendation as my little one could be at risk – more on that in the Pregnancy section.
I wish you ALL an amazing Sunday, wherever you are, whatever Season you are in. I will be back for more
